  • Nearly all agencies indicated that within the next five years, they plan to implement additional devices and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as link to regional systems (such as the Regional Community Network, Regional Archived Data Server, or other connectivity strategy).
  • Almost 80% indicated they were planning on implementing upgrades or enhancements to their traffic operations and management centers.
  • More than half of respondents identified that they plan to hire additional staff to support operations is planned within the next five years.
