Agencies that Incorporate Lifecycle Costs into Maintenance and Replacement Scheduling

Device maintenance is another integral component of arterial operations. Agencies primarily rely on internal maintenance/technical staff to support this maintenance, supplemented by vendor warranty or troubleshooting. Most agencies indicated that they do incorporate lifecycle into their device maintenance and replacement needs, which allows them to better gauge when resources will need to be invested in maintenance or device replacements and upgrades.
